These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of products by Ceylon Ish Tea Limited through our website. By browsing or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these provisions.

2. Contract Formation

When you submit an order through our checkout page, you are submitting an offer to purchase the specified goods. A legally binding contract between you and Ceylon Ish Tea Limited is established only when you receive our automated Order Confirmation & Receipt Email confirming payment authorization and order generation.

3. Pricing & Taxes

All prices on our store are listed in Pounds Sterling (£ GBP) and include any applicable United Kingdom Value Added Tax (VAT).
Standard UK delivery charges (£4.99 via Standard Tracked Delivery) are clearly presented during checkout prior to payment authorization.
We reserve the right to rectify accidental pricing errors before order dispatch, with prompt notification and refund options offered to the customer.

4. Payment Processing

Online payments are processed securely via Stripe Payments. We accept major credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay. For wholesale hospitality contracts, authorized B2B bank transfers to our Monzo Bank UK account are accepted.

5. Dispatch, Delivery & Risk

Parcels are delivered via reputable tracked courier services. Full title and risk of loss pass to the customer upon physical delivery to the designated shipping address. Please ensure all delivery details provided at checkout are accurate.

6. Returns & Cancellation Policy

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you possess the right to cancel your purchase within 14 calendar days of receipt.

Food Safety & Hygiene Exemption:

Because tea is a food product with delicate aromatic qualities, pouches that have been opened or had their tamper-evident freshness seals broken cannot be returned for hygiene and health protection reasons under Section 28(3)(a) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

Unopened items in original, undamaged packaging may be returned to our Cumbria facility. Upon receipt, a full refund of the product purchase price will be credited to your original payment card within 5 business days.

7. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, trade names, logo badges, images, text, and sensory descriptions displayed on this website are the intellectual property of Ceylon Ish Tea Limited and protected by UK and international copyright laws.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Sale and any contractual dispute arising from transactions on this website shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales hold exclusive jurisdiction.
